How to report a form on this install that is being used for phishing, spam, harassment or unlawful content, and what happens after you do.

Anyone with an account on this install of Tinyform can publish a form, and a published form is a public page. If one is being used to deceive, harass or harm people, the operator of this install wants to know. This page says what counts, how to report it, and what happens next.

What to report

• Phishing: a form that imitates a bank, a company or a person to collect passwords, card numbers or other secrets.
• Malware: a form that links to or distributes malicious software.
• Spam: forms used to send unsolicited mail through their notifications, or created in bulk by automated means.
• Harassment: a form that targets, threatens or exposes a private individual.
• Unlawful content: anything illegal to publish where this server is, and any sexual content involving minors, which is reported and removed without exception.
• Impersonation: a form presenting itself as the operator, or as somebody it is not.

A form asking questions you find intrusive is not, by itself, abuse; the form's owner is responsible for what they ask, and /help/privacy-policy says who to contact about your answers.

How to report

There is no report form on this install yet. Write to the operator at the address shown on /support. If that page says this deployment has no support address, the operator has not set one; the operator states an alternative here: [reporting address].

Include:

• The form's link. A form on this install lives at /r/ followed by its id, or at an address on a domain its owner connected.
• What you saw and why it is abuse, with a screenshot if you have one.
• How the form reached you, if it was sent to you.
• A way to contact you if the operator needs more, though you may report anonymously.

Do not fill the form in with real information to test it, and do not file a report you know to be false; that is itself misuse under /help/terms-conditions.

What happens next

The operator reviews the report. A form can be closed by its owner or removed by the operator, and an account that breaks the terms can be suspended. Where the content is unlawful the operator may also pass the report to the relevant authority. The operator will confirm receipt where you gave a contact, and states their expected response time here: [time].
