Refund policy

When a Pro payment is and is not refunded, how cancelling works, and what to do if a technical problem kept you from using the product.

A Pro subscription is paid in advance, for a month or a year, and can be cancelled at any time from SettingsBilling. When you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you already paid for and you are not charged again. The subscription is never cut short and nothing you built is lost.

What is not refunded

Because a cancelled subscription runs to the end of its paid period rather than stopping, the amount already charged is not returned. In particular there is no refund for:

  • A renewal you forgot to cancel. The charge goes out on the renewal date shown on the Billing page; cancel before it to avoid it.
  • Time you did not use. A month or a year is bought whole.
  • Changing your mind after the charge.
  • Trying the paid features. The free plan is the trial: everything except the badge and the custom domain is available on it, so you can find out whether the product suits you before paying for the two things it holds back.

When a refund is considered

If a technical fault on the service's side stopped you from using the product for a prolonged period during a paid term, write through Contact support within a reasonable time of the fault, say when it began and what it prevented, and the charge for that period will be reviewed. A short outage or a problem with your own network or browser is not a refund.

How to cancel

Open SettingsBilling, click Manage billing, and cancel in the payment provider's portal. The Billing page then shows the date Pro ends instead of the date it renews. Billing and payment information walks through the page.

This policy sits alongside the Terms and Conditions, which take precedence where the two differ.
