Discord Integration

A planned connection that would post each new submission to a channel on your Discord server, with the answers you choose.

A Discord integration would post to a channel on your server every time a form is completed. From the form's Integrations tab you would authorise the connection, choose the server and the channel, and write the message: plain text plus @ mentions that insert particular answers, or @All answers for the whole response. Discord's Markdown would apply to the text, so a message could carry bold, italics or a quote.

At the moment, Discord is a card marked coming soon on the Integrations tab, and nothing is connected behind it.

Until it ships, a webhook is the working route. Discord channels can accept an incoming webhook of their own; pointing the form's webhook at an automation tool that reshapes the payload for that address gets a message into the channel for every completed submission. Otherwise, the self email notification delivers each response to an inbox as it arrives.

Once the integration exists, this page will cover connecting a server, choosing a channel and composing the message.
