Slack Integration

A planned connection that would post a message to a Slack channel or DM for every submission, with the answers you choose.

A Slack integration would tell a channel the moment a form is completed. From the form's Integrations tab you would connect a Slack workspace, choose a public channel, a private channel or a direct message, and write the message the way the email notification is written: free text with @ mentions that pull in particular answers, or @All answers for everything the respondent filled in. Slack's own formatting would apply, so a message could be bold, quoted or carry a user mention.

Today, Slack is a card marked coming soon on the Integrations tab. Nothing sends a form's submissions to Slack yet.

In the meantime, a webhook pointed at an incoming-webhook URL from Slack's app directory, or at an automation tool that posts to Slack, gets a message into a channel for every completed submission. The self email notification is the other way to hear about each response as it arrives.

When the integration ships, this page will describe connecting a workspace, picking a channel and composing the message.
