How to import forms from Typeform

What importing a Typeform into this product would involve, and what to do while there is no importer.

Tinyform has no importer yet, for Typeform or for anything else. This page says what one would do, so you can plan a migration around it.

What an importer would do

You would connect your Typeform account, pick one or more forms from a list, and have each one rebuilt as a draft in your workspace. The rebuild would map the common question types to their counterparts here: short and long text, multiple choice, dropdowns, email, number, date, rating and scale questions, file uploads, welcome and thank-you screens, and the split into pages. Required flags and answer options would carry across.

Two things would still need your attention afterwards. Logic jumps rarely map one to one between two products, so you would open the imported form and check each rule. And past responses would stay where they are: an importer moves the structure of a form, not the answers already collected, so you would export those from the old tool before switching it off.

What to do today

Start from the template gallery at /templates, where 165 ready-made forms cover most of the shapes a Typeform takes, or build the form in the editor at /forms/<id>/edit. Copying question text across by hand is slower than an importer, but a form of ten questions takes a few minutes.
