The best free Google Forms alternative

In the reference help centre this page sets the reference product against Google Forms: a paragraph on where the free Google tool stops, a feature table with what each row costs on either side, and a closing recommendation.

Tinyform publishes no comparison with Google Forms. Its own feature list is under Features: a document-style editor, conditional logic, calculated fields, answer piping, hidden fields, redirects on completion, password protection, webhooks and a REST API, all on the free plan. What the one paid plan adds is on The Pro plan. A Google Sheets integration, which the reference leans on here, is not yet available.
